About Our Founder
Scott Keegan – Founder & Managing Director
Scott has spent the majority of his working life serving with the Royal Air Force initially as an Aircraft Engineering Technician in Avionics before becoming a multi-skilled Avionics and Electrical Technician. He has served all over the UK and overseas to places including Afghanistan, America, Canada, Cyprus, Poland, and Germany.
He spent most of his career working on the Harrier Jump Jet, supporting operations on joint RAF/RN front-line Squadrons, testing and repairing complex Air RADAR, Air Radio, Air Photography and Flight System LRUs (Line Replaceable Units). He was responsible for a team of instuctors who trained new Aircraft Maintenance Mechanics and Navy Air Engineering Technicians on the Harrier. He even managed to land himself a position on the Harrier Display Team back in 2006.
During the latter part of his career, Scott has focused his wealth of experience on the fields of Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement. He became a Chartered Quality Professional with the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) in 2013. He also became a Chartered Member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) and a member of the Chartered Management Institute.
Since leaving the military in 2015, he has worked for the British Assessment Bureau as a qualified ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 external Lead Auditor, and a Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Manager for a leading UK roofing contractor. He is married with three children, and in his spare time likes to chill out in his garden, where he grows chillis, fruit, and vegetables, makes jams, and gets stuck into some DIY wherever possible. He is also an active committee member for the Swadlincote Royal British Legion.
